Illuvium: Beyond V1.1 - Now Live!

New Features

Version 1.1 has some fantastic new features to increase engagement and reward players. Let’s dive into them below. 

Leaderboards 

We're excited to announce the launch of our latest feature, Leaderboards! While we had hoped to include this feature before our launch, we ran out of time, but we're thrilled to finally bring it to our community.

The Leaderboards will add a new dimension of competitiveness to the game, complementing our current ranking system of Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. The Leaderboards will showcase the top 100 collectors and may be extended in future versions.

Rewards 

Each week, we will take a snapshot of the leaderboard and award the top 100 collectors with bonus ILV tokens starting April 7th at 24:00 UTC.

We're also planning to add additional rewards for collectors who make it onto the leaderboard in future game versions. This means that the more you play and perform, the greater your chances of earning additional rewards and building your collection.

We hope this new feature adds an exciting competitive element to the game and motivates our community to continue collecting and battling their way to the leaderboard.

Public Collections

Are you curious to see the collections of the top collectors on our Leaderboards? Well, now you can! We're excited to announce that we've added a new feature to our game that allows you to browse other collectors' collections and share your own.

This feature enables you to connect with other collectors and see what they've been able to add to their collections. You can use this information to get ideas on what to add to your collection and take advantage of new opportunities to expand it. Plus, you can share your collection with others to show off your impressive haul of D1SKs.

Launch Party Music Player

You will be able to enhance your browsing experience with some of the latest beats from our talented sound team as you explore the latest Illuvitars that have been minted. Don't settle for browsing in silence anymore.

Collection Emotes

Get ready to show off your collection in the Arena! Completing specific collections will now unlock unique emotes that you can use to express yourself and interact with other players.

Collection Skins 

Unlock a new level of personalisation in the Illuvium universe! By completing specific collections, you'll now have access to unique skins that you can use to customise your character in the Overworld, Zero, and Arena. Get ready to stand out from the crowd with your own personal style! 

Collection Battleboards 

Ready for some intense battles in the Arena? Take on your opponents with a style that's all your own, thanks to the new collection-based battle boards! Completing specific collections will now unlock unique battle boards you can flaunt in combat.

A Recap: Key Highlights and Developments So Far

Alpha Sale Results 

We're thrilled to share the final statistics from our recently concluded Alpha D1SK sale, which was a resounding success! Over three days, we sold 20,000 Alpha Mega D1SKs and 20,600 Standard Alpha D1SKs for 40,600 D1SKs.

The total revenue generated from the sale was 47,843.51 sILV2 and 742.39 ETH, an incredible $4.75 million in just three days. We couldn't have achieved this without your unwavering support and enthusiasm, and we're so grateful for your participation.

Stretch Goals

Community Goals 

We're making fantastic progress on our community Stretch Goals, and we're thrilled to announce that the first five goals have been successfully completed! The "First Wave" Emote is a reward that will be available for all participants to claim during the Public Beta.

We're also thrilled to announce that we've unlocked an exclusive and never-before-seen Illuvial from Set 2. Introducing the Chameleon Illuvial line - a unique class of Illuvials that mimic the type and affinity of the closest allied Illuvial on the board. We can't wait for you to see these Illuvials in action and discover their unique abilities for yourself.

Pie-in-the-face

One of our favourite community goals that we've achieved so far was the co-founder pie-in-the-face live stream. It was a hilarious and memorable moment that brought our community together in a fun and engaging way.

But we're still going! We're still working on convincing the last of our co-founders to participate, so we're calling on our fans to give Von Neumann a friendly nudge on Twitter or in our Discord channel. Let's make this happen and continue to build on the fun and engaging community spirit that makes Illuvium such a special place.

Bonus Emotes 

Each Alpha D1SK purchased by Alpha participants receives a Bonus Emote D1SK with custom-drawn emotes for use in-game. We hope you'll love these fun and unique emotes that add personality and flavour to your Illuvium experience.

New Region Reveal

We're proud to reveal the Cinematic Region Reveal of Brightland Steppes, one of the most breathtaking regions in the Illuvium universe. Although some of you may have already seen this stunning region, we encourage you to watch the cinematic reveal and immerse yourself in the enthralling music and visuals that capture the essence of this magical place.

Individual Goals

Merch and Private Beta 3 codes

In addition to the Community Goals, which we will keep everyone updated on, we know that many of you have been achieving individual goals. These include a one-time use code for the Merch Store, which will be available after the store launches and two Private Beta 3 codes with the launch date still to be announced.

Free D1SKs

Once Wave 2 begins, we will distribute the free Wave 2 Standard D1SK and Mega D1SK rewards to those that qualified.

Free Metal Print

We’ve also had many hardcore collectors achieving some of the bigger stretch goals, the 5th entitling them to a free metal print of their Illuvitar which is available once the Merch Store is live. 

Battle Board Skin

Some have even achieved the 6th which is a free "First Wave" battle board skin that can be claimed when the Public Beta goes live.

Among the upcoming goals is the 100,000 D1SK sale goal which will include an exclusive downloadable version of Illuvium Official Soundtrack. 

24-hour live stream

With over 350 concurrent viewers at its peak and over 100 viewers sustained throughout the event, we were thrilled with the turnout. We successfully completed our first 24-hour live stream with some of our top influencers and fans. We had numerous battles and giveaways, but we acknowledge that the team started to experience fatigue midway through the event. Next time, we will share the hosting duties around to maintain the highest standards throughout the event.

Celebrity Illuvitar D1SK Battles

We have already hosted two captivating battles in our Illuvium: Beyond Celebrity D1SK Battle Series. During D1SK Battles, guest participants reveal their Illuvitars by opening a predetermined number of Mega and Standard D1SKs. They then compete to see who has the most powerful bonded Illuvial, based on their highest-powered Illuvitars. Kain vs Chainlink God | VonDoom vs Josh Ong

In the inaugural face-off, Kain Warwick (Founder of Synthetix) was defeated by Chainlink God (ChainLink Hero), and in the second match, VonDoom (BAYC Owner) was bested by Josh Ong (BAYC Council). We're excited to bring more thrilling D1SK battles featuring prominent Blockchain and NFT community members in the future.

Charity Donations

As part of our commitment to giving back, we donate $250 to Gamers Outreach for each battle. This incredible charity enhances the lives of hospitalised children by providing them access to video games and entertainment.
