Standard D1SK

When opening a Standard D1SK, an element of randomness determines what you receive. A Standard D1SK contains:
x1 Random Illuvitar
x3 Random Accessories
x1 Bonus Tier 0 Illuvitar
Mega D1SK

When opening an Illuvitar Mega D1SK, an element of randomness determines what you receive in the D1SK. An Illuvitar Mega D1SK contains:
x1 Random Illuvitar
x3 Random Accessories
x1 Rare Illuvitar
D1SK Load Distribution
Below are the weights for each random attribute of an item found in a D1SK in Set 1, Wave Three. It determines the probability of receiving a specific type of item.
Note: Each Wave is a subset of the overall Set and has its own Illuvitars distribution. Weights are adjusted from the set 1 weight so that the composition of loaded items from any Wave more closely resembles the overall Set distribution. Backgrounds, Accessories, and Tier 0 Illuvitars are consistent between Waves, and as such, use the set 1 weights.
Random Illuvitar Attribute Weights
Attribute weights determine the random Illuvitar you receive. The attribute weights determine the Tier, Stage, Expression, Finish, Background Tier, and Background Stage of your Illuvitar.
Note: A random Illuvitar cannot have a Tier 0 Background.
Portrait Tier & Stage

Please be advised that effective percentages for D1SK stages are estimates only. All stages are sampled together after the tier has been decided, and each Illuvitar in a tier is given weights according to their stage.
For example: Depending on the number of a specific stage Illuvitar for a tier, the tier is rolled first and then the stage. So in Wave 2 there is 6 Tier 2 Illuvitars to roll from, 5 from stage 3, and 1 from Stage 2 if you roll a Tier 2, you have a '5x1/(5x1+(1x3))' = [5/8] chance of getting a Stage 3.

Random Accessory Attribute Weights
Attribute weights determine the random Accessory you receive. The attribute weights are used to determine the Accessory Slot, Tier and Stage of your Accessories.

Accessory Slot
Chosen randomly from one of the five slots: Head, Eyes, Skin, Body, and Props.

Tier 0 Illuvitar Weights (Standard D1SK only)
Attribute weights determine the Tier 0 Illuvitar you receive. The attribute weights determine the Affinity, Class, Expression, Finish, and Background Stage of your Tier 0 Illuvitar.
Note: Tier 0 Illuvitars can only receive Tier 0 Backgrounds.
Affinity
Chosen randomly from one of the five Affinities: Water, Fire, Earth, Nature, and Air.

Class
Chosen randomly from one of the five Classes: Fighter, Rogue, Bulwark, Psion, and Empath.

Guaranteed Rare Illuvitar
In a Mega D1SK, one of the items is guaranteed to be rare. The way that this is determined is:
Generate a random Illuvitar as per the random Illuvitar Attribute Weights.
Check that the Illuvitar Power is equal to the threshold for a ‘rare’ Illuvitar; if not, generate another.
Note: A ‘rare’ Illuvitar is defined to be in the top 8.5% (1450 Power) of all Illuvitar Power. A collector would typically buy approximately 12 Standard D1SKS to achieve this power.
‘Rare’ Illuvitars have a guaranteed total power (including background power) of at least 1450. For example, you could get a Common Illuvitar with a Rare background to hit this threshold; alternatively, you could get a rare Illuvitar with a common background.
Illuvitar Power
Each Illuvitar has a power rating used in Illuvium: Beyond to earn the collector points when they add it to their collections. Power is calculated using the baseline weights to ensure that equivalent Illuvitars between sets have equivalent power.
