Voted Proposals Recap
IIP-45-R Land Revenue Share
Sponsor: Nijafe
IIP-45-R was passed with five votes in favor.
This proposal aims to ensure that landowners receive a 5% share of Illuvium in-game revenue, whether generated with or without the use of fuel. The proposal was revised to clearly define the landowners’ revenue share, which includes all digital product sales within the Illuvium gaming ecosystem. Additionally, the revision provides a clear mechanism of revenue distribution to landowners when fuel is not yet produced or when fuel is not used to generate revenue.
IIP-46 Illuvium Beyond Reward Structure
Sponsor: Patate
Key Contributors: Alexa, observableuniverse, Artemis, Scoriox, Sifu
IIP-45-R was declined with four votes against it.
This proposal aims to increase accessibility of newcomers while retaining existing players. The proposal suggests two separate leaderboards: one for individual sets and one for individual waves. Players need to choose one of the leaderboards to participate in. Additionally, the proposal is aiming to increase the leaderboard spots and the overall leaderboard rewards. The IMC declined the proposal due to lack of clarity and actionable items. However, the IMC acknowledged the merit of this proposal and expressed a preference for integrating the proposal into the upcoming Illuvium Beyond Wave 3 IIP.
Pending Proposals Recap
There are no currently ongoing proposals at this time. Many are being worked on (especially in regards to Illuvium Beyond) and will likely go through council vote in the near future.
Major Governance Discussions
Palworld and what the devs can take note of for Overworld
Author: Most Wanted Noobz TV
The aim of this proposal is to introduce new features in Illuvium Overworld that work well with Palworld. Some of the main features highlighted include real-time action creature capture, removing the auto-battler from the Overworld, Illuvials roaming, using Illuvials, and showcasing captured Illuvials in Sanctum Mesa. The community discussed whether to keep the auto-battler in the Overworld. The team has stated that most of the features in this proposal are already being worked on. This is particularly evident in the recent video published on the official Illuvium YouTube channel regarding ‘Illuvial Hunting’
Bad Smurf
Author: Patate
The aim of this proposal is to improve the experience in participating in the Illuvium Arena Leaderboard by rewarding the top 1000 eligible accounts and reducing the prevalence of smurf accounts. The community discussed whether frequent resets are needed to clear the leaderboard from inactive accounts. Additionally, the community discussed concerns regarding how smurf accounts may discourage new players. The team has stated that improvements will be made to ensure that the top 1000 eligible accounts are rewarded, and that smurf accounts detection is not the current priority.
Free-to-Play Zero Land
Author: Nijafe_Plays
The aim of this proposal is to increase user acquisition and retention in Illuvium Zero by enabling free-to-play players to earn fuel and blueprints at a very low rate. The community discussed whether free-to-play players need to be financially rewarded for playing the game. There are some concerns regarding bot abuse and whether the incentive for free-to-play players can generate revenue.
