Zero Alpha 0.1.2 Public Patch Notes

Bug fixes all around! This patch is purely about fixing several issues reported by the community. Our dedicated team has been working hard to address issues reported by our players and make the game experience even better. (Except Johnny. He decided that after only two years straight, he needed a “small break”. Where is the dedication?)

This patch includes fixes to gameplay, inputs, UI, and various other issues. Please take the time to read through the patch notes to see all the improvements that have been made.

Bug Fixes

The following issues are addressed in this patch:

  • Exploits:

    • The time spoofing issue has been resolved.

    • The available builder count no longer increases while moving the power station and spamming “build”.

  • Audio:

    • In-game sounds now correctly mute when the game is not focused on.

  • Gameplay:

    • Structure efficiency now correctly updates after the PowerStation is constructed.

    • The Quantum Fabricant IV quest now completes as intended.

  • Visuals:

    • Landmarks are now the same in the game as on the Illuvidex.

    • The Halogenic Geode landmark has been visually fixed to have the correct scale.

  • Inputs:

    • Scrolling using the mouse wheel in the Goals Panel has been fixed and now works as intended.

    • The tab key now has functionality on the Login Screen.

    • Right-Click and Wheel-Click are now separate inputs from Left-Click. Players' actions now work as intended.

    • Buildings no longer disappear when being placed if the player clicks on something else.

  • UI:

    • Resources gained and losses from selling units no longer overlap.

    • The class Icon for Archie and Atlas has been corrected.

    • The activity pop-up element has been improved.

    • Activity panel “count” and “activity completion” values are now dynamic.

    • The “Collect” pop up stays visible when moving a converter.

    • Research UI has had various fixes and QoL improvements.

    • Green building blueprints no longer stay visible after exiting build mode.

    • The login panel has been optimised for reduced width screens.

  • Misc:

    • Updated Illuvial descriptions.

    • A reset button is available for your plots.

    • Automatic save fixing has been added for corrupted saves.

    • A 64-bit architecture version of the game is available on Android.

    • Various fixes to stability and freezes during long play sessions.

Features

There are no new features in this patch.

Known Issues

  • Players may get kicked off their plot if their connection is poor.

  • Freezes after long play sessions. Changing plots stops the freezes.

  • Obstacles can randomly spawn when resetting a plot.

  • The reset popup is showing "4h 3m", which is an UI issue. Please note that the reset is immediate and the display is incorrect.

  • The "Confirm" button for Speed Up is being displayed as "Yes, Reset". This is a visual issue and the functionality remains unchanged.

  • The Reset button is overlapping with the plot information in the UI. We are working to resolve this issue in a future update.
